Heather Alexander is an award-winning actress/writer and producer with a long list of stage, TV and film credits.
Heather has a degree in English/Psychology and an MA in theatre directing.
She was an original member of Arlene Phillips’ Hot Gossip dance troupe, appearing on the Kenny Everett TV show. She has performed in London’s West End, including opposite David Jason in Look No Hans. Her theatre work also includes many UK and international performances including the roles of Shirley Valentine, Titania and Lady Macbeth.
She has numerous directing credits and was the founder and artistic director of Hastings Fringe Festival 2014-2019.
As well as Havisham, Heather is also currently touring Room, also written and performed by Heather Alexander, celebrating the creative genius of Virginia Woolf, for which she was awarded Buxton Fringe Best Female Actor in 2023.
