Jacqui Garbett is a writer, director and producer and established Hint of Lime Productions in 2005.
She is currently producing Alison Skilbeck’s Are There More of You?, which has toured throughout the UK, Ireland, France and Spain and in 2018 had a sold out 10th anniversary run at Assembly for the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Alison Skilbeck’s Mrs Roosevelt Flies to London which has toured Ireland, the UK and France and had a sold out run at Assembly during the Edinburgh Fringe in 2017, The Power Behind The Crone, a celebration of Shakespeare’s older women, both receiving 5 star reviews, and Alison Skilbeck’s latest solo play Uncommon Ground premiering in 2022; the 2017 Best Comedy Award winner for United Solo Theatre Festival in New York, The Very Perry Show, written and performed by Kate Perry; 4 star reviewed “Author, Composer, Soldier-of-a-sort” about the friendship between composer Ivor Gurney and pioneering female music critic, Marion Scott, written and performed by Jan Carey; dark Victorian thriller A Substitute for Life, written by celebrated crime novelist Simon Brett, and starring Tim Hardy, and the critically acclaimed Trials of Galileo by Nic Young starring Tim Hardy. She is the writer of A Place of Safety, a new play about a child with autism who is sectioned.
