Niall Moorjani is an award winning and critically acclaimed Scottish-Indian, non-binary and neurodiverse writer, storyteller and theatre maker based between Edinburgh and London.
Niall creates for both children and adults, and at the core of all the work are themes of hope, joy and kindness.
Niall has performed all over the world, to audiences in packed theatres, empty libraries, confused bus groups, random passers by and to their dogs. As an adult storyteller Niall has created multiple shows which have won great acclaim. ‘Mohan: A Partition Story’ and ‘A Fairie Tale’ have both received multiple five star reviews and enjoyed successful UK tours. They have performed at festivals all over the world including the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Scottish International Storytelling Festival, Kathakar International Storytelling Festival (Delhi), Brighton Fringe Festival and many more…
For children Niall created the original version of the Edinburgh Fringe 2023 smash hit sell out show ‘Grow’ and co-created the upscaled version with the Suitcase Storytelling Company for the Southbank Centre’s ‘Imagine Festival’. They also co-created the award winning ‘Girl And the Dragon’ (also with the Suitcase Storytelling Company) and have toured across multiple festivals as a children’s storyteller and writer. Highlights include the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, the Hay on Wye Festival and the Cheltenham book festival.
