The Buddy Holly Experience is a high-energy live celebration of the music that changed popular music forever.

Featuring timeless classics including That’ll Be The Day, Peggy Sue, Oh Boy!, Everyday, Heartbeat, Rave On and many more, this uplifting show captures the excitement, spirit and youthful energy that made Buddy Holly one of the most influential artists in music history.

Performed by acclaimed UK touring musician Sunjay, the show is packed with unforgettable songs, audience participation, fascinating stories and a chance for a few of you to get your toes tapping and feet moving on our tiny dance area for the last part of the dance-filled second half.

For Sunjay, this music has always been personal. The very first song he ever learned to sing and play was Buddy Holly’s Peggy Sue. Then, in the spring of 2017, he was invited to play Buddy Holly in the UK touring theatre production Buddy Holly & The Cricketers. Night after night, he stepped into the role of one of his earliest musical heroes, performing the songs that helped define a generation.

The experience rekindled a lifelong passion for Buddy’s music and inspired the recording of Sunjay Sings Buddy, released later that year and featuring members of the original stage show band, who remain close friends and collaborators to this day.

Now, nearly ten years on, The Buddy Holly Experience brings those songs back to the stage in a lively and engaging show that celebrates the music, the energy and the enduring legacy of a true rock ‘n’ roll pioneer.

Whether you grew up with Buddy Holly’s music or are discovering it for the first time, this is a feel-good show full of nostalgia, laughter, singalongs and classic rock ‘n’ roll at its very best.
