After the success of Christmas by the Fireside (online) in 2020, Christmas by the Fireside (live) in 2024 and Another Christmas by the Fireside in 2025, we now present Yet Another Christmas by the Fireside!
Once again we are delighted that Dominic Goodwin, Sue McCormick and chums will wrap us up in a Christmas hug of festive readings and laughs.
Kate Howard and her choir will sing some beautiful seasonal songs and carols.
Expect the programme to include some new pieces and maybe one or two familiar favourites.
Mulled wine, warm non-alcoholic winter punch and seasonal treats will be on sale before the show.
We are very grateful to all involved who are generously donating their time to rehearse and perform these events.
After expenses, profits from this event will be split equally between Dumfries Samaritans and the new Maggie’s Centre Dumfries.
The Samaritans answer a call for help every 10 seconds. They connect people in crisis with trained volunteers who will always listen.
The new Maggie’s Centre Dumfries will offer expert cancer support for our whole region and is expected to open within three to five years.
